when I saw the original illustration of this piece I immediately noticed a similarity in the eyes of Valeria that I wanted to make it with photography, I think she nailed the somber look of the original illustration.

I worked on the crow model for a long time, used several references and custom textures, took up advanced rig tutorials for it, and honestly is far from being even animate friendly, but I had fun working on something quite unique.

[UPDATE 2026]: unfortunately I don’t know the name of the Artist, reverse search does not even get a match and I also only have this early mockup I made.
