Today I presented my Resignation Letter… to pursue the development of my artistic talents
after a year on an Engineering firm…
after a year on an Engineering firm…
Engineering is exciting and difficult, it really demands intellectual traits from a person and I appreciate the challenge every time, its a different puzzle everyday… but it also demands time, leaving other areas of my life unbalanced, its not fun working 10+ hours a day just to get some money. (and its good money) so I asked for a renegotiation on my contract to make it part time, but it was denied. so I said goodbye.
during this last year I barely had any time to make art pieces or photographs

I believe in living an exciting life, and i find Art to be exciting and exotic, you get to meet very interesting people, you get to travel, you can be an artist in ever country of the world, unlike being a doctor, or… An engineer, theres freedom, and as long as I dont have any major responsibilities I can adventure myself into this journey
It takes a bit of traveling to realize that you really dont need that much to survive and get to where you want, but it does take courage.
I am young, my legs still work great, they are not meant to be sitting around all day waiting until 6 pm so I can go home and rest… Sitting down again.
I want to get to use my body, skate, dance, surf and Art is starting to become a means to survive in that lifestyle (more than engineering)
and lets face it, whenever something goes wrong, i just need to come back home, get a formal job and start again… Its not the end of the world.
or this are just the thoughts of my 25 year old self. Peace
